AGM (Annual General Meeting)

A company's yearly mandatory shareholder meeting, where the board presents annual results and shareholders vote on matters like dividend approval and director elections.

Every PSX-listed company must hold an AGM within a set period after its financial year-end. It's where shareholders formally approve the final dividend the board has recommended, elect or re-elect directors, and appoint auditors.

An Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) is the same mechanism called for a specific matter outside the annual cycle — a rights issue approval or a major corporate action, for example.
