Privacy Policy
What is stored about you, who it goes to, and how to get rid of it.
Last updated 4 November 2026.
The short version
You can read almost all of StockPulse without an account, and without telling it anything about yourself. Nothing here is sold, and there are no advertising or cross-site tracking scripts on the site.
What is stored falls into three groups: things you typed in yourself, counters that stop one visitor running up a bill, and anonymous page-view statistics. Each is listed below by name.
If you never sign in
Browsing is anonymous. Page views are counted with Vercel Web Analytics, which records the page visited and rough, anonymous details such as country and browser, sets no cookies, and builds no profile across sites.
If you use the AI assistant without signing in, a daily question allowance is tracked against a one-way hash of your IP address combined with a secret salt — not the address itself, which is never stored. Pakistani mobile networks share public addresses between many subscribers, so that hash does not identify a person and is deliberately not treated as if it did.
If you create an account
Accounts are handled by Supabase Auth, which stores your email address and a cryptographic hash of your password — never the password itself. Everything else is what you choose to add:
| Watchlist | The symbols you follow. |
| Portfolio | The transactions you enter — symbol, quantity, price and date. This is the most sensitive thing on the site, it is visible only to your own signed-in session, and it is never shared with anyone. |
| Sentiment votes | Your bullish/bearish vote on a stock, shown only as an aggregate. |
| Saved baskets | Comparison sets you build in the earnings chart tool. |
StockPulse does not connect to your broker, has no access to any trading account, and cannot place or see real trades. A portfolio here is a figure you typed into a calculator.
The AI assistant
To answer a question, the question is sent to a third-party model provider. Please do not type anything private or identifying into it.
Questions and the answers given are retained, along with which data lookups the assistant ran, so that the site can be improved to cover what people actually ask for. They are stored against your account id if you are signed in, or against the hashed value described above if you are not. They are not used to build an advertising profile and are not sold.
AI output on this site — including sentiment labels and generated commentary — is informational and can be wrong. It is not financial advice.
If you sign up for the market digest, your email address is stored for that purpose only. Every digest carries an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe here at any time, which removes you from the list. Email is delivered through Resend.
If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you submit are stored so the message can be read and replied to.
Payments
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own systems and never reach StockPulse — this site never sees, handles or stores a card number. What it keeps is which plan an account is on and whether it is active.
Who else processes your data
StockPulse is built on third-party infrastructure, and these are the companies involved: Vercel (hosting and the cookieless analytics above), Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery) and the AI model provider used by the assistant and sentiment features. Like any web host, these providers process the ordinary technical details of a request, including your IP address, in order to serve the site and protect against abuse.
That is the full list. Nothing is shared with advertisers or data brokers, because the site has none.
Cookies
The only cookies set are the ones that keep you signed in and remember display preferences such as light or dark mode. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why there is no consent banner to click through.
Market data is not personal data
Prices, indices, dividends, board meetings and company announcements come from PSX filings and public sources, as set out in the methodology. None of it relates to you, and none of your activity is mixed into it.
Getting your data, or deleting it
You can clear your own watchlist, portfolio entries and saved baskets from within the site at any time, and unsubscribe from email yourself using the link above.
To request a copy of everything held about your account, or to have the account and its data deleted outright, write to us through the contact page. Deletion removes your account, watchlist, portfolio and saved baskets. Anonymous aggregates that cannot be traced back to you — page-view counts and the like — are not affected, because there is nothing in them to remove.
Children
StockPulse is intended for adults making their own research decisions and is not directed at children.
Changes
If what the site stores changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. If anything here does not match what you observe, that is a bug worth reporting — please tell us.
